“The History of Motorsport” lecture was recently delivered by renowned automotive historian Karl Ludvigsen at TIGOSE’s Member Cranfield University.
Karl is a Visiting Fellow at Cranfield. The focus of the lecture was the iconic BRM V16 1.5 litre supercharged cars developed in the immediate post-war period. However, Karl also brought into play Raymond Mays’s involvement in racing pre-war and a brief discourse on ERAs. The lecture attracted an audience of over 100 and some classic cars.
