TIGOSE Commercial Partner Central Scanning will be at Race Retro this weekend.
Central Scanning have been 3D-scanning cars and creating wooden bucks for many years. In addition to bucks, they can scan pretty much any automotive parts.
Bucks are designed using 3D scan data, working with the client’s chosen coachbuilder to incorporate any features they may require. Central Scanning can even recommend coach builders if appropriate.
Central Scanning is in Hall 2, stand C52. Spot the Porsche RS60 that was originally scanned in Germany by Central Scanning MD Nick Godfrey: they designed the wooden buck and the car has been manufactured using traditional craftsmanship complemented by 3D Technology.
Since then, Central Scanning has gone on to manufacture a number of bucks for different prestigious cars.
Central Scanning will also show their range of high-tech 3D Scanning equipment, as well as a range of 3D Printed prototypes they have done for some customers in the past.
Nick and his team will be delighted to see you; pop in for a chat.
